A rejected item, resolved without a phone call
A driver arrives at a delivery and one case is damaged. Instead of taking the whole delivery back or leaving the damaged case, the driver records a partial delivery: the good stock is confirmed, the damaged case is rejected with a reason and a photo, on the spot.
The customer signs for what they actually received. The rejection reaches your ERP the same day, with the reason attached, rather than surfacing a week later as an unexplained invoice dispute.
