THE GREAT HALL
The centerpiece of the Washington Pavilion, the Great Hall combines the elegance of grand theater with a large proscenium stage and a complete sound and lighting system. With a lush interior and mahogany stained walls, performances, meetings and other special events will be presented in a style equal to no other in the region. The Great Hall can be rented in its entirety or without the balcony and mezzanine levels.
CENTER STAGE
The Great Hall stage is the perfect setting for your wedding, reception, dinner or other formal occasion. The gorgeous rose quartzite panels and plum chairs of the Great Hall create an elegant and unique backdrop. Special low rates for stage-only rentals.
BELBAS THEATER
This smaller theater is the perfect venue for more intimate performances, lectures, video conferences, weddings and receptions.
EVERIST GALLERY
Enjoy a delightful view of downtown Sioux Falls through beautifully restored windows of the high school’s former library. By day, a large gallery space in the Visual Arts Center. By night, perfect for receptions and other grand events. Catering kitchen is adjacent to the room. Galleries A, B and C in the Visual Arts Center also offer an elegant setting for receptions.
SPACIOUS LOBBIES
With four floors of open lobby space anchored by two grand, winding stairways, this space can accommodate functions of various sizes. Blending contemporary design with historic elegance, the lobby areas can be suited to your needs—from a small gathering of 15 to large, multi-level parties and trade shows.
SCHULTE ROOM
Function meets fashion in this elegant space suitable for receptions, meetings, small banquets, rehearsals, workshops, or as an alternative theater space. Rose quartzite wall detail, sprung hardwood flooring, a wall of mirrors (may also be covered), and 20-foot ceilings. Theatrical equipment available.
KIRBY SCIENCE DISCOVERY CENTER
Explore the wonder of science in this dynamic center with three floors of hands-on science exhibits. This large area can host most groups, and many areas can accommodate catering stations.
EXECUTIVE BOARDROOM
The Executive Boardroom is a prestigious setting for your organizational conference or committee meeting.
GREEN ROOM
The Green Room, a theatrical lounge and meeting room in the Husby Performing Arts Center, offers a similar environment to the Executive Boardroom in a more intimate setting. The Green Room also provides a private restroom and coffee/kitchen area. Additional meeting rooms are available for breakout sessions.
LEONARDO’S CAFE & CATERING
Leonardo’s Cafe, located on the first floor of the Washington Pavilion, can fulfill all your catering needs. We know the facility, the staff, the traffic flow and the colors and design of the interior, which enables us to create an appetizing and delicious environment both culinary and aesthetic. With staff accessibility to a full-service kitchen, Leonardo’s can ensure fresher and hotter food served faster. Hold your meeting, wedding, reception or party in Leonardo’s Cafe. Your guests will enjoy the old-world atmosphere and whimsical takes on Leonardo da Vinci’s Mona Lisa painting.
WELLS FARGO CINEDOME
Have a meeting in our encapsulated 172-seat giant screen movie theater. Ideal for spoken programs that require film, video and/or slide presentations. Your guests may also enjoy a private showing of our collection of feature attractions!
